Firefighters First T.E.A.M.

The Firefighters First TEAM was born out of the Leadership Ashland Class of 2006. During a tour of the Fire Station, followed by a Q&A session with Chief Burgess, it became apparent that while the Fire Deptartment handles life-saving skills on an exemplary level, the marketing of those skills was lacking. With the blessing of Chief Burgess, four classmates came together (along with a 2007 LA enrollee) to form the TEAM, along with a firefighter from each shift, a Captain and the Fire Prevention Bureau Captain. The TEAM has been busy in the few months since it's inception, becoming incorporated, filing for 501(c)3 status, ratifying founding documents and finally planning fundraisers and marketing tools. All TEAM members are in the process of becoming CPR/First Aid certified and are passionate about making our Fire Division the best in the country.
